When Hamas is unable to debate facts in a free and open democracy
they resort to personal attacks and threats!

What the creators of the below hate group on Facebook do not realize is that I, Joel Leyden have spent most of my life working for peace. Beyond having served on the board of directors of Writers and Journalists for Peace in the Middle-East, in the IDF as a Humanitarian Officer and having contributed much money and time for global humanitarian causes, I have used Facebook and other Web 2.0 applications to create bridges of respect, understanding and tolerance. All the while as Hamas and Iran advocate the murder of "Infidels" - Jews and Christians who do not follow Islam.

I have supported talks between between Iran, Hamas and Israel. Hopefully, US President Obama will be successful in these humanitarian and peaceful efforts.
I have supported every peace effort that Israel has made while maintaining that Israel has a basic right to defend herself from terror attacks.

Israel's enemies are not the Palestinians, but Iranian backed Hamas which has destroyed the Palestinian economy and placed the Palestinians in Gaza into deep poverty and suffering. In fact, Israel send tons of humanitarian aid into Gaza every day, much of which is stolen by Hamas!

Lastly, Joel Leyden never took any land or money from the Palestinians.
If the Palestinians should really hate anyone it should be Yassar Arafat who created the Oasis Casino in Jericho. Arafat took millions of dollars for himself and not one penny for the Palestinian children living across the street!
And where does Yassar Arafat's wife Suha live today? Suha Arafat lives in a luxury hotel in Paris on EU and UN humanitarian money that was supposed to buy food and blankets for the poor in Gaza.

As I and Israel take every opportunity to reach out for peace - Hamas teaches Palestinian children to hate Jews.
Israel left Gaza three years ago but Hamas was not interested. Hamas wants Tel Aviv, Haifa, Jerusalem - all of Israel. Hamas has fired over 8,000 terror rockets into Israeli civilian towns and when Israel raises its hand to defend herself - Hamas uses Palestinian children as human shields.

The below hate page was taken from Facebook. It says that Joel Leyden is an enemy of the Palestinian people. When in reality Hamas has done more to destroy the Palestinian people and a Palestinian state than anything that a Jew could have ever done:
